Blogging is a great way to record ideas, share information, or just talk about random things. Why not take that on the road? Why should be limited to a desktop or laptop?
Surf/View/Read
Mobile versions of website are popping up from time to time as the amount of smart phones with data plans skyrocket. Why should we be forced to see a full-sized website on a smaller screen when there is a way to format the content for a smaller screen? WordPress and a few other blog hosts have realized this and some creative people have created a mobile version of blogs.
My own blog, newoinc.wordpress.com, has a mobile version that allows data phones to view my posts in a better formatted view. I’m able to view, reply, and comment on posts that I have already made.
I particularly like how my posts are listed on my iPhone with the WordPress theme “Blix” by Sebastian Schmieg.
Reading and commenting on posts are about as easy.
Here is my navigation.

Bloggers are branching out from the desktop and laptop input phase and are starting to use Droids, BlackBerries, iPhones, or iPads. Some bloggers can whip out a mini article in a few minutes on their smart devices, where images or other media types aren’t really needed.
WordPress released an iOS4 App that can let your iPhone, iPad, and iPod create articles on the move. Eliminating the need to be in front of a computer can help bloggers stay on top of their blogs, reply to comments, and even create new content when inspired.
The downsides from the iPhone/Pad/Pod version are that complicated post edits and inserting images can be a pain to do. But none the less, you are still able to do it if you have the patience.
The iPhone/Pad/Pod version of the WordPress app can be installed from the app store.
