MowenWorks works with the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) to create an interactive and informative page for the 100th anniversary of the JLA. The Junior League of Atlanta’s legacy comes from a small group of 45 women who in 1916 strategically linked vision, social capital, and trained action to address community challenges. These women did not set out to change the world, only to improve the lives of women and children in Atlanta by tackling issues on the front lines. As we look forward to our Centennial, we are an organization of nearly 3,500 women strong focused on tackling the issues facing our community including generational poverty, commercial sexual exploitation/human trafficking and early childhood education.

MowenWorks created a single page that highlighted the last 100 years of JLA history. A web plugin tool allowed for an interactive timeline with images of the Atlanta chapter history. Each president from the past and present contributed a brief insight into the chapters legacy. We added a contact form at the bottom of the page to allow people to contribute stories of their own.
The JLA had a goal of the single page to showcase the legacy of JLA leadership, past and present, as well as allow for visitor interactions and participation. Visitors could submit their own stories or participate through social media. The interactive timeline also allowed visitors to “stroll” through JLA history.
