This years DevConnections conference is being held at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas Sept. 30 – Oct. 4.

Last year, I walked away with a TON of knowledge and “holy crap, that’s awesome!” from almost every session. I’ve been saving up my conference budget for this conference because honestly, this one seems to be a rare “this is how you could do X” type of conference. The sessions are full of real world examples, feature explanations, code demos, and concept demos for 2010 and 2013.

If you like to be in-the-weeds kind of developer, I would suggest going to this conference at least once. What you take away from their conference makes up for it in the session content alone.
