Dev Connections 2012

Dev Connections 2012

This year I made a goal to attend at least 2 conferences around the U.S. Dev. Connections caught my eye because a.) there was a decent buzz about them b.) they offer multiple tracks such as SQL, Visual Studio, and SharePoint and c.) it’s not vender specific. I personally don’t like going to vendor specific conferences because you only hear about the flagship company. I want options. I want to know who else is out there.

TechEd was pretty good, but it was hosted by Microsoft. It’s not a bad thing that they hosted, but you did get the feeling that if you needed a solution that M.S. didn’t provide (or their partners), no-one wanted to talk about it at the conference. Attendees included.

Dev Connections is a vender neutral conference that I’m going to be taking 3 additional co-workers to. The conference is March 26th– 29th in Vegas at the MGM Grand. Cant wait!

  1. That’s great! Check out the session schedule that was just posted: http://bit.ly/zJFLmz – You can register for one track but attend anything you like. We want people to have flexibility.

Of course, we’d love to know what you think about the conference too.

BTW, be sure to use code FB50 to save some money on registration.

Updates & news on the conference can also be found @DevConnections on Twitter & /DevConnections on Facebook.

    See you in Vegas!
